Eighth Grade and Senior High Youth Group
February Activities:
On Feb 19th, PF will be immediately following Confirmation Class. We will have a pizza/ice cream party and play some games from 12 – 2pm.
Sun., Feb. 26th, Annual Ski Trip: Pilgrim Fellowship is organizing the 3rd annual family trek to Wachusett Mountain on Sun., Feb. 26th. We will leave the church at 6am and return by early evening. This is an all church family event, so please bring the whole family! If your youth is a current PFer, they may attend without parental supervision as long as we have enough drivers. If you have a youth that would like to attend who is not currently registered for PF it is necessary that one parent also attend. March Activities:
March 4th ~ Video games and cupcakes. Ok, sounds like a weird combination but we can only make our own sundaes so many times, so we will move on to decorating your own cupcake. I am hoping to get my hands on an old PS or Xbox for the youth room and some appropriate games. If you have an older system that you would like to donate, please let me know.
March 11th ~ Dave & Buster’s at Providence Place Mall. We will leave the church at 12:30pm and will eat at the food court at the mall. We will then head upstairs for games and prizes. We will leave Providence between 2:30 and 3pm and will call on our way back. I will need chaperons for this event please. I will forward details regarding purchasing game cards when the time gets closer.
March 18th ~ Service Project TBD, but what I have in mind will be tons of fun – I just need to do a little research – stay tuned
March 25th ~ No PF. The Confirmation Retreat is that weekend so Pastor Ken and I will need a little R & R and the youth will probably need a little homework time.
